Produced by bodega El Grillo y la Luna, the red wine 12 Lunas Garnacha is a young Grenache from DO Somontano.
This varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from a 20-year-old vineyard with clayey soils, Las Carrasquetas, located near the village of Barbastro, at 460 metres of altitude.
Hand-harvested at the beginning of October, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature for about 10 days. Then they went through a brief maceration with the skins. Finally, the red wine 12 Lunas Garnacha 2022 was filtered through gravity and aged in the tanks for a short time.
This unwooded red wine from Somontano scores highly on the drinkability scale.
