Coming from Vilobí del Penedès, 999 de Loxarel Brut Nature is produced by the Masía Can Mayol winery, a member of the Clàssic Penedès association of producers.
A blend of Pinot Noir and the native grape Xarel·lo Vermell (Red Xarel·lo), the vinification process of this Spanish sparkling wine began with a 14-hour long grape maceration.
Subsequently the grapes were pressed and fermented in stainless steel vats under controlled temperature. After that, 999 de Loxarel Brut Nature 2016 was bottled, went through secondary fermentation and was aged for a period of 15 months.
This is a crisp and easy-drinking Clàssic Penedès sparkling wine.

Palate | This bubbly of Loxarel from Masia Can Mayol is berryish and floral, with creamy mousse, a zesty acidity and some bitter and mineral notes. Long finish. |
