Details
Produced by bodega Alba Soleira, a small family-run winery, the wine Alba Solleira Mencía is a varietal Mencía from DO Ribeira Sacra.
The grapes are sourced from south-oriented vineyards located along the banks of the Miño river, at 300 metres above sea level, in an area with a continental climate. The vines are 20 years old on average.
Hand-harvested and meticulously selected, the grapes were transported in little boxes to the cellar. This Spanish red wine was then vinified in stainless steel tanks and wooden vats under controlled temperature.
After that, the wine Aba Solleira Mencía 2019 was aged for 10 months on lees before bottling.
Fresh and savoury, this red wine aged on lees will pair excellently with cold cuts and BBQ'd meats.
