Details
Produced in the Catalan region of Pla de Bages, the wine Abadal Matís is an attractive Spanish red wine made from a blend the indigenous variety Mandó, delicate and aromatic, together with the international ones, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which provide the bones.
Harvested at dawn to preserve the freshness of the fruit, after a careful selection the grapes were separately vinified.
Once fermentation and maceration were completed, the wine musts were blended, after which they underwent malolactic fermentation.
Produced by the Abadal winery, the wine Abadal Matís 2021 was then aged for 10 months in oak barrels.
Finally, this red wine from Pla de Bages was aged for some months in the bottle prior to its commercial release.

I have great respect for this winery. This Bordeaux blend is very good. Very fresh, with no excess of ripeness or oak.
