Produced by Viñedos Singulares, the wine Afortunado is a varietal Verdejo made from vineyards located at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level, in the northern Spanish province of Segovia, DO Rueda.
Harvested in mid October, the grapes were destemmed, cold-soaked and gently crushed. Then this Spanish white wine was fermented at a controlled temperature for 20 days.
Finally,the white wine Afortunado 20232 was aged on its lees for a short period of time to enhance its aromatic qualities.
Pair this young white wine with finger food, tapas and shrimp.
