Red Wine En Números Vermells Aiaiai 2023

The entry-level Spanish red wine of bodega En Números Vermells, the personal project of talented winemaker Sílvia Puig, the wine En Números Vermells Aiaiai is made from a blend of 5 grape varieties sourced from several plots scattered across DOQ Priorat.

The varieties are Hairy Grenache, Grenache, Carignan, Merlot and Syrah. The Merlot, Syrah and most Grenache vineyards are in Poboleda, the Hairy Grenache ones are in Bellmunt del Priorat and the Carignan and the rest of Grenache vineyards are in Torroja del Priorat. Vines are 15 to 30 years old.

Each grape variety was separately viinified in stainless steel tanks. After finishing fermentation this red wine from Priorat was blended and then aged in 2nd and 3rd year French oak abrrels and clay vessels for 8 months.

The red wine En Números Vermells Aiaiai 2023 was bottled after a gentle filtration.
