Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut
Availability: In stock
Subtle and elegant, the champagne Alfred Gratien Brut is produced by Maison Alfred Gratien, established in 1864.
It is made principally from Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, with a 12% Pinot Noir. The grapes are sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards scattered across AOC Champagne.
The main feature of this Champagne brut reserve is the vinification of the base wines in 228-litre oak barrels, which add a distinctive rounded elegance to the final product.
Each grape variety and each specific parcel was separately vinified. Interestingly, the wines did not went through malolactic fermentation to keep their bite and freshness.
Once blended, the champagne Alfred Gratien Brut was bottled and aged for 48 months minimum before being disgorged.
This NV Champagne will nicely accompany a multi-course dinner.
