Availability: In stock
Produced by the Joan d'Anguera winery, the wine Altaroses is a varietal Grenache wine made from vineyards which have been organically and biodynamically farmed since 2012.
Situated in the heart of DO Montsant, the Demeter certified vineyards have clayey, rocky and limestone soils.
Hand-picked and carefully selected, the grapes were fermented in concrete diposits for 12 days. Before going through malolactic fermentation, this Spanish red wine was macerated for 15-20 days.
After that, the wine Altaroses 2022 was aged in used wooden barrels for 12 months.
Naturally stabilized by the winter cold, this organic red wine was bottled unfiltered. Finally, it was aged for 6 months before hitting the market.
Aerate this red wine from Montsant some time before drinking.

Nose | This varietal Grenache wine feels pure and amazingly fresh. Pristine aromas of red berries and flowers, with hints of aromatic herbs, underbrush, balsam and dry earth. |

Our personal opinion | Not as "radical" as in previous vintages, the wine Altaroses 2022 combines richness and elegance. |
