A varietal Mencía, the wine Altos de Losada comes from El Bierzo, one of Spain's hottest wine regions.
Classified as "Vino de Villa" (Village wine), this Spanish red wine of Bodegas Losada Vinos de Finca is sourced from old vineyards planted on clayey hills with different sun orientations. They are located near the village of Valtuille de Arriba, an area with a continental climate.
After a careful harvest, each parcel was separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Altos de Losada 2021 was aged for 15 months in 2,000-litre French oak vats.
This varietal red wine from El Bierzo was gently clarified, but not filtered, before bottling
Aerate this Crianza red wine at least 1 hour before drinking.
