Details
Produced by Grandes Vinos y Viñedos, the wine Anayón Selección is a blended Spanish red wine made from Tempranillo, Carignan, Merlot and Syrah.
The grapes come from vines, 25 to 50 years old, grown in sandy and rocky soils, at altitudes between 500 and 700 metres, in Sierra de Algairén, DO Cariñena, (not to be confused with the Carignan/Cariñena variety).
Once in the celler, each variety was separately vinified. First, they were macerated for 4-5 days, and then this Crianza red wine was fermented with frequent pump-overs and rackings in order to obtain a more concentrated wine.
After that, the wine Anayón Selección 2021 was aged in Navarran, French and American oak barrels for a period of 10 months.
Finally, this red wine from DO Cariñena was blended, bottled, and aged for a further months before hitting the market.

| Palate | Meaty and powerful, but also fresh and yummy, this vegan wine of bodega Grandes Vinos y Viñedos has smooth tannins and a nice acidity. There are notes of vanilla and clove, with hints of cocoa and black fruit. Long finish, with a mineral eco and a hint of tobacco leaves. |
