Made by the AT Roca winery, the white wine Anima Mundi Gres is the substitute of AT Roca Costers.
Coming from DO Penedès, this Spanish white wine is sourced from Xarel·lo vineyards certified organic, planted from 1956 to 1974 in Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs, an area with limestone soils peppered with abundant sedimentary rocks, particularly claystones.
This varietal white wine from Penedès went through a spontaneous fermentation with the skins for 14 days, and it was partially vinified as an orange wine. After that, the white wine Anima Mundi 2023 was aged for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and 500-litre French oak barrels, with no stirrings. It was bottled with no added sulfites.
This organic white wine was bottled following the lunar calendar.
