The wine Aretheal Negre Colls de Porrera is the entry-level Spanish red wine of the bodega Aretheal, a young wine project in DOQ Priorat headed by Marc Aguiló.
A blend of Grenache and Carignan, the grapes are sourced from two vineyards with llicorella (slate) soils, La Mina and La Roca, located between 500 and 530 metres of altitude, in the Colls de Porrera area. Viticulture follows the guidelines of organic farming.
This blended red wine from Priorat was vinified in stainless steel tanks. After that, the red wine Aretheal Negre Colls de Porrera 2022 was kept in the tanks for 6 months. It was not aged in oak before being bottled.
The production of this unwooded red wine is below 1,000 bottles.
