The whisky Arran 10 Years Old is the core product of the Arran distillery. Founded in 1993 in the Isle of Arran, it is the only distillery on the island.
This 10 years old Whisky is made from unpeated malt, slowly fermented and distilled twice in copper stills. After finishing the process, this Single Malt Whisky matured for 10 years in ex Bourbon and Sherry oak casks.
Medium-gold with some bright glints, the whisky Arran 10 Years Old carries aromas of Seville oranges, rosemary honey, green herbs and honeysuckle, with a dash of puff pastry and lemon cake. On the palate, this whisky from the Isle of Arran is mildly sweet and well-rounded, with vanilla, white chocolate and caramel, ending with a brief citrusy and honey note.
