Whisky Arran Sherry Cask

The Arran distillery, the only one currently making whisky on the wonderful Isle of Arran, presents the whisky Arran Sherry Cask, aka The Bodega, one of the most interesting Single Malts of its core product range.

Produced with high-quality malt and water sourced from the nearby Loch Davie, this Single Malt Whisky was distilled twice in copper stills and then matured for 7 years in some of the finest Sherry casks available on the market. This cask strength whisky was bottled at 55.8 ABV with no chill filtration and no colouring.

Gold-amber coloured, the whisky Arran Sherry Cask showcases toffee, candied bone fruit (apricots, ripe peaches), dried figs and citrusy spices. The palate of this whisky matured in Sherry casks is bold and powerful, with deep intimations of chocolate and ginger, a touch of mint and clove and a very long finish reminiscent of red berries, cinnamon and raisins.
