Details

Coming from DO Méntrida, Toledo, the wine Arrayán Selección is produced by Bodegas Arrayán from an all-out blend of French grape varieties.

The three main components of this Spanish red wine are Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, comeplemented with a 10% Petit Verdot. Planted in 1999, the vines are grown in sandy soils at 510 metres of altitude.

Each variety was cold-macerated for 24 hours and then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 15 days under controlled temperature.

After that, the red wine Arrayán Selección 2019 was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels.

Before hitting the market, this organic red wine was aged for 12 months in the bottle.

Pair this Crianza red wine with aged cheese, meat rice recipes and roasted meat.
