Details
One of the bottlings of the Vinos de Parcela collection of Bodegas Artadi, the wine Artadi La Hoya successfully captures the spirit of a remarkable, east-oriented 3.3 ha vineyard located in Elvillar de Álava, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.
This varietal Spanish red wine is made from Tempranillo vineyards around 60 years of age, grown in loose, deep loamy soils farmed following organically certified techniques.
Meticulously harvested and vinified, this Crianza red wine went through a pre-fermentation cold maceration for 24 to 48 hours and then it was fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10-12 days, with periodic pump-overs and punch-downs.
Transferred into French oak barrels, the wine Artadi La Hoya 2021 underwent malolactic fermentation and was subsequently aged for 12 months. It was bottled on May 2023.
Aerate this red wine from Rioja Alavesa 1 hour before drinking.
