Red Wine Áster Crianza 2021

This is the new vintage - an excellent one, incidentally- of the wine Áster Crianza, a varietal Tinta del País  (Tempranillo) made from estate vineyards located in Anguix (Burgos), at an altitude around 800 metres.

Produced by Bodega Áster, the grapes were meticulously harvested and selected. Once in the cellar, they were destemmed, gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.

Then this Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero went through malolactic fermentation in oak barrels, with weekly stirrings of the lees, for a period of 2 months.

After that, the red wine Áster Crianza 2021 was blended and aged for 16 months into 75% new and 25% 2nd year French oak barrels.

Decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
