Produced by Bodegas Baigorri, the wine Baigorri Belus is one of the bottlings of the Vinos de Autor collection.
Made principally from Graciano, something unusual in La Rioja, this Spanish red wine is complemented with some Tempranillo and Grenache.
Meticulously harvested and selected, the uncrushed grapes were destemmed, selected on a vibrating table and fermented in stainless steel tanks with gentle pump-overs performed through gravity.
After that, this red wine from La Rioja was transferred into French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation. Then this vegan wine was aged for a period of 14 months.
Finally, the wine Baigorri Belus 2018 was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Before hitting the market, it was kept in the cellar for some months.
Decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.

Nose | Loads of blueberries, blackberries and redcurrants. After some aeration, this blend of Graciano, Tempranillo and Grenache suggests well-defined aromas of black olives alongside a creamy and spicy background. |
Palate | The palate of this red wine from Bodegas Baigorri is elegant and intense. Good balance between the tannins and the acidity, with a spicy and balsamic note underscoring ripe red fruit and wild berries. Long finish with a floral and forest floor note. |
