Pacharán Baines Etiqueta Oro
Availability: In stock
This traditional Pacharán from Navarra is made from aniseed and sloe essential oils. The first provides the aroma, and the second adds the characteristically bitter taste.
The origins of the Licores Baines distillery go back to 1844. Since that day, the company has crafted Baines Etiqueta Oro following the same method, which consists in macerating a proportion of over 250 grams of sloes per litre in 500-litre oak barrels. The sloes macerate with aniseed for a minimum of six months.
Interestingly, the quality of Baines Etiqueta Oro has been recognized several times with the "Diploma de Artesano" (a seal which accredits outstanding craftmanship) by the Navarra regional government.
This high-quality sloe brandy has an intense ruby colour with some violet tinges. The nose is expressive and enticing, quite smooth. On the palate, Pacharán Baines Etiqueta Oro is nuanced and gently bitter.
Drink this Pacharán from Navarra without food, or pair it with smoked cheeses or pastry.
