Details
The 2023 vintage of Bancal del Bosc, the entry-level Spanish red wine from Celler Vinyes Domènech is made only from local varieties.
The wine is made from Grenache, Hairy Grenache and Carignan, sourced from 3 vineyards with slate and clay soils situated in Capçanes, DO Montsant.
After fermenting for 20 days under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, a portion of the wine Bancal del Bosc 2023 was transferred into French oak barrels and aged for 6 months. After that, the wine was blended and bottled.
This savoury red wine from Montsant will be an excellent accompaniment for BBQ'd meat.

good montsant
This wine which has been consistently upgraded and fine-tuned over the last years. I remembered it as somewhat sketchy, but the last vintages I have enjoyed very much. Ever more defined and precise.
