Crafted by the founder and current winemaker of Bodegas Beronia, Matías Callejo, the wine Beronia Crianza is a great all-rounder from Rioja.
It is made basically from Tempranillo, with a dollop of Grenache and Mazuela (Carignan), sourced from vineyards closely monitored by the winery.
This blended Spanish red wine was produced following the unmistakable "Beronia style", defined by a long maceration process.
During that operation, frequent pump-overs and punch-downs are performed in order to extract colour and aromas.
After that, the wine Beronia Crianza 2021 was aged for 12 months in tanks and for another 12 months in combined oak barrels, the staves made of American oak, and the heads made of French oak.
Finally, this Rioja red wine was aged for 3 months minimum in the bottle prior to its commercial release.
