Made by bodega Vinyes del Terrer, the wine Blanc del Terrer 2022 is a quintessentially Mediterranean Spanish white wine entirely sourced from old Macabeo vineyards.
The grapes come from a 3-hectare vineyard with clay-limestone soils located near the village of Santes Creus, at 300 metres of altitude, an area with a Mediterranean climate exposed to the cooling effect of the sea breeze. The vines are certified organic.
The grapes were hand-picked on September 7th and 8th, meticulously sorted and gently destemmed. After that, this organic white wine from Tarragona was fermented in stainless steel tanks and concrete diposits.
After that, the white wine Blanc del Terrer 2022 was aged for 6 months on its lees. Bottled in July 2023, this white wine aged on lees was kept for 12+ months in the cellar before hitting themarket.
We suggest aerating this organic white wine before drinking.
