Whisky Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dhá
Availability: In stock
The Bunnahabhain distillery presents the whisky Bunnahabhain Toiteach a Dha, a bottling that nicely encapsulates the personality of Islay whisky, defined by its peaty character and maritime charm. (“Toiteach” is Gaelic for “smoky”.)
Made from peated malt, after a meticulous fermentation and distillation process this No-age-statement Single Malt was aged for some years in ex Sherry oak casks.
Visually appealing, this NAS Whisky from Islay is medium amber with some copperish glints. The nose of this Single Malt Whisky is impressively complex and nuanced, with aromas of kippers and capers in brine, black pepper and Sherry, evolving into vanilla, fudge and Seville orange peel. On the palate, this Scotch Single Malt is energetic and typically sweet, with a peated core and intimations of ripe peaches, burnt marshmallows and roasted dry fruit, ending with a minty and salty note.
