A varietal Tinto Fino, the wine Camino Romano is produced by Dominio Romano, a branch of the well-known Parés Baltà winery.
Coming from DO Ribera del Duero, this Spanish red wine is made from from 15 to 30-year-old vines certified organic and situated near the village of Rábano, Valladolid.
Searching to convey the freshest, more openly fruit-forward side of the Tinto Fino variety, the grapes were meticulously harvested, cold-macerated, and fermented for about 3 weeks in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this Ribera del Duero red wine was aged for 8 months in 2nd and 3rd year Hungarian and French 400-litre oak barrels
Delicately filtered prior to its bottling, the wine Camino Romano 2022 may present some sediment. Thus, we suggest that you decant it.
Pair this organic red wine with sautéed vegetables, cold cuts and BBQ'd meats.

Crunchy tannins, tense acidity and long, fresh finish. |

Camino romano
This is a very elegant Tempranillo. I find the acidity particularly remarkable, and the balance is also excellent. Jammy fruit and forest-floor remembrances. Long.
