Produced by the Caol Ila distillery in Islay, the whisky Caol Ila Moch (“Moch” is gaelic for “dawn”) is a No-age-statement Single Malt Whisky with a lighter, more approachable character than the 12 year expression, Caol Ila 12 Years Old.
This NAS Single Malt from Islay was meticulously crafted and distilled. After that, the master blender selected this whisky only by reason of its taste, notwithstanding any considerations regarding age, strength or finish.
Amber-coloured with some straw-coloured glints, this whisky from Islay has a delicate and lively nose, suggesting lemon cake, custard, green herbs and apple crumble. The peaty element, subdued and mild, appears on the palate, which is gently sweet and salty. The whisky Caol Ila Moch has a crisp, elegant finish.
