Details
The red wine Convento San Francisco is sourced from Tempranillo vineyards 85 years old on average, located at altitudes between 760 and 970 metres above sea level.
The vineyards are located near the facilities of the Convento San Francisco winery, in the very heart of DO Ribera del Duero
The grapes were hand-picked in October and selected on site and at the receiving station. Then this Spanish red wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature with periodic pump-overs and punch-downs.
After completing the malo, the wine Convento de San Francisco 2020 was aged for 13 months in French oak barrels.
Finally, this Crianza red wine was bottled and kept in the cellar for some months before hitting the market.
