Red Wine Corral de Campanas 2020
Availability: In stock
Coming from DO Toro, the wine Corral de Campanas is sourced from the youngest estate Tinta de Toro vineyards of bodega Quinta de la Quietud.
The vines grow in very poor soils at an altitude over 700 metres above sea level.
Harvested by hand at dawn, first the grapes of this Spanish red wine were destemmed and crushed. Then they were fermented under controlled temperature and macerated for 2 weeks in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Corral de Campanas 2020 was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels (50%), 4,000-litre oak vats (15%) and steel tanks (15%).
Aerate this organic red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
Pair this Crianza red wine with meat recipes.
Appearance | The wine Corral de Campanas is deep ruby with a violet hue. |
---|---|
Nose | Quite lively, with prominent notes of bilberries and cranberries. This Tinta de Toro red wine also suggests milky candies, cocoa, toast, exotic spices and Tahitian vanilla. |
Palate | This wine from Quinta de la Quietud has a lively acidity and round, sweet tannins. Berryish and structured, the wine is certainly fresher than one might think. Finish is long and clean, with a pleasant, spicy aftertaste. |
Our personal opinion | A not-so-bold Toro is something to welcome. The wine Corral de Campanas 2020 is substantial, but also drinkable and inviting. |
