Red Wine Cortijo Los Aguilares Pinot Noir 2022
Availability: In stock
This Spanish red wine is both a rarity and a stunner. Produced by bodega Cortijo Los Aguilares, the wine Cortijo Los Aguilares Pinot Noir is a high-altitude varietal Pinot Noir from DO Málaga-Sierras de Málaga.
The grapes are sourced from vineyards with clay-limestone soils situated at 900 metres of altitude, near the enchanting city of Ronda. The area has a huge diurnal temperature range which keeps acidity high and allows grapes to ripen slowly and steadily. Thus, this varietal organic red wine compensates southern latitude with high altitude.
Hand-harvested twice, on arriving at the cellar the grape bunches were refrigerated and fully destemmed. Then this red wine from Málaga was fermented in concrete diposits under controlled temperature.
After that, the red wine Cortijo Los Aguilares Pinot Noir 2022 was transferred into French oak barrels and egg-shaped concrete diposits, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 8 months.
This remarkable Crianza red wine has some very good years ahead of it.
Aerate some time before drinking.
