Produced from Premier Cru vineyards located in Montagne de Reims, in the Avenay-Val d'Or commune, Crucifix Prestige Premier Cru is arguably the best-known Champagne of Maison Crucifix Père et fils.
An equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this non-vintage Champagne is produced from estate-owned vineyards, 35 years old on average, grown in clay-limestone soils.
The grapes were fermented in stainless steel tanks, after which 20% of the Chardonnay must was aged in 200-litre barrels for some months. After that, Crucifix Prestige Premier Cru was aged for 4 years with its lees in the bottle. It was disgorged 4 months before hitting the market.
This refined Champagne Premier Cru Champagne makes for a nice after-work drink.

Palate | Smooth-bodied and engagingly fresh, this non-vintage Champagne from Crucifix Père et fils has some palate-caressing bubbles and an excellent balance. White fruit and sweet spices, with an aftertaste of flowers and a buttery note. |
