Produced by Bodega Javier San Pedro, the wine Cueva de Lobos Crianza comes from La Rioja Alavesa, DOCa Rioja.
The young winemaker Javier San Pedro makes this Spanish red wine solely from Tempranillo grapes, sourced from 20-year-old vineyards.
The grapes were harvested and fully destemmed before fermenting in stainless steel tanks. After that, the red wine Cueva de Lobos Crianza 2021 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Once bottled, this Crianza red wine was kept in the cellar for a further months.
Pair this Rioja red wine with meat recipes and cold cuts.
