Produced by Bodega Javier San Pedro, the wine Cueva de Lobos Crianza comes from La Rioja Alavesa, DOCa Rioja.

The young winemaker Javier San Pedro makes this Spanish red wine solely from Tempranillo grapes, sourced from 20-year-old vineyards.

The grapes were harvested and fully destemmed before fermenting in stainless steel tanks. After that, the red wine Cueva de Lobos Crianza 2022 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Once bottled, this Crianza red wine was kept in the cellar for a further months.

Appearance	The red wine Cueva de Lobos Crianza is medium purple with some violet glints.
Nose	A classic Rioja Tempranillo profile, with forest berries, a dash of cinnamon and clove and some balsamic and herbal remembrances.
Palate	Fresh and well crafted, this wine of Bodega Javier San Pedro has great drinkability, a nice acidity and some lively tannins. Medium-long finish with a berryish and spicy aftertaste.
Our personal opinion	The wine Cueva de Lobos Crianza 2022 is a spectacular value from Rioja.
