White Wine Davila 2022
Availability: In stock
The young white wine Davila from DO Rías Baixas is made from a blend of three indigenous grapes: Albariño, Loureiro and Treixadura.
Produced by Adegas Valmiñor, this Spanish white wine comes from 40-year-old vines grown in sandy and pebbly soils.
The grapes were meticulously harvested and selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar. Separately vinified, each variety was then cold-soaked for 6 to 8 hours, drawn off, and fermented in stainless steel tanks. After that, the Albariño and the Loureiro wines were aged for a brief period on lees in the tanks.
Finally, the wine Davila 2022 was blended and further aged for 2 months in the cellar prior to its commercial release.
Pair this white wine from Rías Baixas with shrimp appetizers and fish recipes.
This is a vegan certified wine.
Appearance | The white wine Davila is medium straw with some steely tinges. |

Nose | The blend of Albariño, Loureiro & Treixadura results in a rather complex nose. Lively notes of white flowers, freshly cut grass, pineapple and passion fruit, with some citrus and mineral nuances. |
Palate | Velvety-bodied and fresh, this white wine from Adegas Valmiñor carries some tropical fruit and aromatic herbs, nuanced by a salty tip. Delicate and focused, with a good acidity, and a medium-long finish with remembrances of white fruit and flowers. |
Our personal opinion | Fresh and fruity, the wine Davila 2022 pairs very well with seafood recipes. |
