Details

The wine Tabuca is the entry-level red of bodega Gil Pejenaute, named after his founder and manager, the experienced winemaker Javier Gil Pejenaute.

This varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from vineyards with clay-iron and sandy soils around 40 years old. They are located on the outskirts of Tabuenca, in DO Campo de Borja, Aragón, an area with a Continental climate at roughly 700 metres above sea level.

The hand-picked grapes were fermented in open vats, after which this red wine from Campo de Borja was aged for 10 months in 500-litre French oak barrels. Bottled in November 2023, the red wine Tabuca 2022 was kept for 12+ months in the cellar before being released onto the market.

Aerate this Crianza red wine before drinking.

9,000 bottles produced.
