The wine Celler 9+ Selecció 1r is an interesting Spanish white wine from DO Tarragona.
A varietal Macabeo, this natural white wine of bodega Celler 9+ was sourced from old, low-yielding vineyards which receive the cooling effect of the sea wind. The vineyards are organically certified.
The grapes were fermented, macerated for 38 days at a low temperature in stainless steel tanks and pressed. The winery used only the “first-press” wine.
The white wine Celler 9+ Selecció 1r 2022 was then kept in the tanks for 9 months, with weekly stirrings of the lees.
The wine was bottled with no added sulfites or chemical preservatives.
We suggest aerating this organic white wine from Tarragona before drinking.
