Red Wine Herència Altés La Pilosa 2022

Produced by Herència Altés, the wine Herència Altés La Pilosa is a wildly interesting varietal Hairy Grenache from DO Terra Alta, an up-and-coming wine region in southern Catalonia. 

This varietal Spanish red wine is produced from certified organic vineyards with limestone soils situated at 350 metres of altitude.

Hand-harvested and carefully selected, once in the cellar the grapes half-destemmed, gently crushed, and fermented in concrete tanks under controlled temperature, with daily punch-downs.

After completing malolactic fermentation, the red wine Herència Altés La Pilosa 2022 was aged in 5,000 litre Austrian oak vats for 14 months.

Before being bottled, this vegan red wine from Terra Alta was gently fined.

We suggest pairing this Crianza red wine with a lamb stew with vegetables. Aerate before drinking.
