Red Wine El Buscador 2020

Produced by Bodega Finca de la Rica, the red wine El Buscador is made from Tempranillo (85%) and Grenache (15%).

The grapes come from low-yielding vineyards located in the town of Labastida, in the western area of La Rioja. Average altitude is 600 metres above sea level.

After a meticulous harvest, this Spanish red wine was vinified with a 25% of the grape bunches. A portion of the wine completed malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, while the rest completed the process in French oak barrels.

Then the wine El Buscador 2020 was aged for 12 months in 80% 2nd and 3rd year French oak barrels, and in 20% American oak ones. Finally, it was blended and aged for some time in the bottle.
