This is the new vintage of the wine Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay, produced by Bodegas Enrique Mendoza.
A varietal Chardonnay, this young Spanish white wine is made from estate vineyards planted on the hills of Cabezo de la Virgen de Villena, at an altitude of 700 metres, in the northwestern area of DO Alicante, bordering DO Yecla.
Once in the cellar, the grapes were macerated for 3 hours and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature. Then the wine Enrique Mendoza Chardonnay 2023 was aged in the tanks on its lees for a minimum of 3 months.
This is a fresh and elegant vegan white wine from Alicante.
