Produced by Eloi Milà and Josep Montserrat, the two Catalan winemakers at the head of Àrid Vins, the wine Eòlic is a varietal Spanish white wine from Penedès made from Sauvignon Blanc.
This interesting organic white wine is produced from vineyards located at an altitude over 800 metres above sea level near the town of Pontons, in the highest area of Penedès. This is a Mediterranean terroir with little rain, conveniently tempered by the coolnes that goes with altitude.
Meticulously vinified, the wine Eòlic 2022 was aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for about 3 months in order to extract aromas and colour.
This varietal white wine from Penedès combines freshness and Mediterranean flair in a most engaging way.

| Nose | This organic Sauvignon Blanc is very aromatic. Aromas of jasmine, orange blossom and grapefruit, with notes of freshly cut grass and boxwood. Well-balanced and characterful. |
| Palate | A note of freshness that gives way to notes of yeasts, toasted bread, aromatic herbs and white fruit. Acidity is remarkable and brings a wonderful tension to this wine of the Àrid vins winery. Clean, medium-long finish that brings back some herbal remembrances. |
| Our personal opinion | A Mediterranean Sauvignon Blanc from high-altitude vineyards, the wine Eòlic 2022 is not entirely unlike the legendary Sauvignons from Pouilly Fumé and Sancerre. |

Here you find passionfruit and, yes, the infamous cat's pee smell. Anyway, a very good Sauvignon Blanc.
