Appearance |
The red wine Fagus is medium purple with a ruby rim. |
Nose |
The aromas of this varietal Grenache wine are enticing. Red fruit and jammy wild berries, underpinned by some mineral notions, dim wooden aromas, a dash of spices, cocoa and coffee, and some remembrances of balsam, menthol and sweeties. |
Palate |
Elegant, powerful and well-balanced, this red wine of Bodegas Aragonesas has a meaty texture and a very good acidity. Notes of tobacco, chocolate, juicy red fruit and spices. Smooth passage, crunchy tannins and long finish with some delicately bitter and toasted remembrances. |
Our personal opinion |
An ode to Grenache, the wine Fagus 2022 from DO Campo de Borja is complex, characteristic and seductive. |
