Details
The wine Figuero Asomo is the entry-level Spanish red wine of Bodegas y Viñedos García Figuero. Previously, it was known as Tinto Figuero 4 Meses.
It is made from Tempranillo vines planted from 1995 onwards, in the towns of La Horra and Roa, DO Ribera del Duero.
Carefully harvested, first the grapes were cold macerated for 2 to 3 days. Then this red wine from Ribera del Duero was spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the wine Figuero Asomo 2023 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.
Pair with BBQ'd meat and tapas.

Fresh Tempranillo
This is the kind of wine I like. A fresh Tempranillo with not too much oak. You can drink it alone or with good food. Cheers!!
