Details
The white wine Albillo Criollo Viñedo El Pinalete is made by bodega Finca Vegas, a family winery based in DO Abona, in the southern part of Tenerife, Canary Islands. This varietal Spanish white wine is sourced from a single vineyard planted with the native white variety Albillo Criollo, located at 850 metres of altitude.
The grapes underwent a very gentle, Champagne-style whole-bunch pressing, after which they were refrigerated for 48 hours and drawn-off. Then this white wine from Tenerife was fermented in a 720-litre concrete egg and a 600-litre used Stockinger Austrian oak barrel.
After that, the white wine Finca Vegas Albillo Criollo Viñedo El Pinalete 2022 was aged on lees for 11 months.
Bottled in July 2023, it was aged for 12 months minimum before hitting the market.
We suggest aerating this white wine from Abona before drinking.
