Details
The white wine Listán Blanco – Viñedo Lomo de las Ánimas is made solely from Listán Blanco, the Canary Islands’s best-known native white variety.
This varietal Spanish white wine is sourced from a single vineyard called “Lomo de las Ánimas”, planted at 1,100 metres above sea level in DO Abona, in the southern part of the island of Tenerife.
Made by bodega Finca Vegas, this white wine from Tenerife was first slowly and gently whole-bunch pressed, à la Champagne. After being refrigerated for 48 hours, the wine must was drawn-off and subsequently this white wine from Abona fermented in 720-litre concrete eggs, 320-litre clay vessels and used 600-litre Austrian Stockinger oak barrels.
Once the process was completed, the white wine Finca Vegas Listán Blanco – Viñedo Lomo de las Ánimas 2022 was aged on lees for 12 months. Bottled in September 21, 2023, this Crianza white wine was aged for a further 12 months before being released onto the market.
