Red Wine Garnatxa EG 2021

A varietal Grenache, Garnatxa EG is a single parcel Spanish red wine produced from vines planted on the Montsant river basin, near the village of Gratallops, in the heart of DOQ Priorat.

Produced by Cesca Vicent, this Crianza red wine was born in the steep slate and rocky slopes typical of Priorat. Certified organic, the vineyards are farmed following environmentally friendly procedures.

Harvested by hand in mid September, the grapes were first macerated with the skins in stainless steel tanks at a low temperature. After that, they were fermented for a substantial period of time, and racked on a daily basis. Garnatxa EG 2021 was then transferred into French oak barrels and aged for 12 months. Once the process was completed, the best barrels were selected and the wine was bottled after a gentle filtration.

Decant this organic red wine from Priorat minimum of 30 minutes before drinking.
