Produced by Telmo Rodríguez, one of Spain’s most critically acclaimed winemakers, Gazur takes a fresh look, both literally and metaphorically, at the sometimes maligned DO Ribera del Duero.

Made basically from Tinto Fino, this Spanish red wine is complemented with the local red varieties Valenciano (Bobal) and Navarro (Grenache), and also with the indigenous white variety Albillo. The grapes are sourced from 22 hectares of organically grown vineyards located in the provinces of Soria, Burgos and Valladolid.

After a meticulous harvest, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Then it was aged for 4-6 months in concrete diposits. The red wine Gazur 2022 saw no wood at any stage of the process.

Additional Information

Appearance	The red wine Gazur is medium ruby with a crimson hue at the rim.
Nose	Transparent and pure, this blend of Tinto Fino, Valenciano, Navarro and Albillo has fleshy blackcurrants and sour cherries with a hint of herbs and a leathery note.
Palate	This wine of Telmo Rodríguez is crunchy, fruit-driven and fresh, with soft tannins, massive drinkability and a medium-long finish with a dark fruit aftertaste.
