The small-batch Gin Brooklyn is made by Emil and Joe Santos at the Brooklyn Craft Works Distillery in Warwick NY, the first licensed stillhouse in the Big Apple since the repealing of the Volstead Act.
This meticulous hand-crafting process of this American Gin begins with the fermentation of corn from New York to obtain a neutral spirit. After that, the spirit is distilled and infused with locally sourced fruits and botanicals, such as citrus and juniper berries.
Transparent and visually attractive, the Gin Brooklyn carries aromas of orchard fruit and juniper, with some floral and herbal suggestions. On the palate, this New York Gin is well-rounded and fresh, with a dry note and a clean, elegant finish.
