Whisky Glenmorangie Lasanta

This exquisite Malt Whisky with 43% ABV was crafted in the north of Scotland by the Glenmorangie Distillery.

The uniqueness of Glenmorangie Lasanta comes from its being aged for 12 years in two kinds of containers. The first ten years it was aged in American oak casks previously used to age Bourbon. After that, Lasanta was polished for a further two years in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks. The result is a high-quality product with an extremely appealing personality.

This 12-year-old Whisky has a very attractive golden colour with some copper-coloured glints. The ageing in Oloroso and PX casks has indeed given Glenmorangie Lasanta a unique aromatic profile, with some well-defined aromas of raisins, enveloped by nuts, fresh citrus, a background of spices, and a savoury note of toffee. On the palate, this Scotch Whisky is surprisingly lush and smooth, with a creamy texture and enticing, caramaley, mouth-filling sweetness invigorated by a crisp citrusy note. Long, delicious finish.
