Whisky Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban

The exciting Quinta Ruban is yet another brilliantly innovative product of the well-known Glenmorangie Distillery.

Responding to a widespread consumer's petition, the distillery decided to age this non chill-filtered whisky for a longer period of time.

A premium Single Malt Whisky with 46% AVB, it was first aged for 12 years in used Bourbon barrels. In order to further singularize it, Quinta Ruban was subsequently aged for 2 years in used Ruby Port barrels, a fact which brought this whisky from the Highlands a uniquely smooth and suggestive palate. 

The single malt Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 12 Years has a gorgeous mahogany colour with some rosy and amber hints. The nose is very complex, with notes of oranges and mandarine oranges, a layer of bitter chocolate, a tip of cedar, and some spicy hints reminiscent of black pepper and nutmeg.

As for the palate, Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban is lush and refined. There is a clear note of dark chocolate bonbons, with hints of nuts, citrus, moka and roses. Long finish with an aftertaste of mint chocolates, lime and lemon peel.

This fine Scotch Whisky is smooth and immensely enjoyable.
