White Wine Goliardo A Telleira 2021
Availability: In stock
This is the new vintage of Goliardo A Telleira, a one-of-a-kind Spanish whtie wine crafted by the incomparable Raúl Pérez in collaboration with bodega Forjas del Salnés.
A varietal Albariño, the grapes are sourced from a single vineyard planted more than 40 years ago in the heart of DO Rías Baixas.
Hand-harvested, the grapes were fermented, and aged in 700-litre vats for 12 months.
After that, Goliardo A Telleira 2021 was aged for 2 months at 30 metres underwater in containers specially designed to keep temperature, humidity and pressure constant.
The result is a remarkable Crianza white wine.
Aerate this white wine from Rías Baixas 30 minutes before drinking.
This is one of those exceptional, hard-to-find wines. Roughly 600 bottles produced. Grab one while you can!
Appearance | The white wine Goliardo A Telleira is medium yellow with some waxy tinges. |

Nose | This varietal Albariño suggests aromas of white fruit and bitter herbs, with remembrances of smoke, white pepper and flowers, and deep mineral and salty undertones. |
Palate | This wine of bodega Forjas del Salnés is gently unctuous, focused and masterly crafted. Wonderful balance between acidity, fruit, the salty character and the tannic structure. Extremely elegant and idiosyncratic. Long, persistent, bitter and salty finish. |
Our personal opinion | The white wine Goliardo A Telleira 2021 is an age-worthy white wine that exudes sophistication and complexity. |
