Details

A well-made traditional Spanish red wine from DOCa Rioja, the wine Gómez Cruzado Crianza is produced by the Gómez Cruzado winery.

A blend of 75% Tempranillo and 25% Grenache, it is made from vineyards sitauted in Sierra Cantabria and the Alto and Bajo Najerilla regions.

Hand-picked and selected, the grapes were destemmed and macerated for 3 days. Then this red wine from La Rioja was fermented in truncated cone-shaped stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, with periodic pump-overs and rack-and-returns.

After that, the red wine Gómez Cruzado Crianza 2021 was transferred into American and French oak barrels, where it was aged for 12 months.

The result is a well-rounded, elegant Crianza red wine.

Appearance	The red wine Gómez Cruzado Crianza is deep ruby with some violet glints.
Nose	This blend of Tempranillo and Grenache shows a classic Rioja profile, with aromas of blueberries and ripe cherries, wrapped in subtle notes of clove, cinnamon and vanilla, with some balsamic and lactic overtones.
Palate	Savoury and smooth, this wine of Gómez Cruzado has a balanced acidity and a some ripe tannins, with nicely intergrated wood, generous fruit and a long finish with remembrances of spices, liquorice and herbs.
Our personal opinion	The lovers of traditional Rioja should definitely try the wine Gómez Cruzado Crianza 2021.
