Produced in the heart of the Basque Country by bodega Gorka Izagirre, the wine Gorka Izagirre G22 is made solely from the native variety Hondarrabi Zuri Zerrate.
This varietal Spanish white wine was sourced from 8 hectares of vineyards planted in 2006 within the area of DO Bizkaiko Txakolina.
The grapes were harvested by hand in October, gently pressed and vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, the white wine Gorka Izagirre G22 2022 was aged on lees for some months before its bottling.
Following the tradition, this Txakolí from the Basque Country was not aged in oak to preserve its fresh and crisp character.
Utterly atlantic and extremely versatile, this white wine from Bizkaia (Biscay) is a great accompaniment to shrimp and white meat. It is also excellent without food.
